EF prioritizes the safety of our students and is following US Government requirements for air passengers that a non-US citizen entering the USA longer than 60 days will be fully vaccinated. This decision will ensure a smoother exchange experience for students and provide an additional layer of protection to all participants, schools and communities in which we operate.

You will be required to be fully vaccinated with one of the accepted COVID-19 vaccines at time of departure. While this is subject to change, fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks after receiving the second dose of Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra Zeneca vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine.

You will be required to be fully vaccinated with one of the accepted COVID-19 vaccines at time of departure. While this is subject to change, at present, fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks after having received the second dose of Pfizer, Moderna, or Astra Zeneca vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

While subject to change, you are required to present a negative COVID-19 test to board your plane to the United States. This test must be a viral test, which includes Antigen or PCR tests, but must be conducted no more than three (3) days before your flight.

All EF Welcome Days, EF Camp & EF Discovery Tours participants and staff will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Our Host Families and International Exchange Coordinators (IEC's) will not have a mandatory requirement for vaccination against COVID-19. Our Host Families and IEC's are volunteers of the program and there is no mandate for them to be vaccinated

If you choose not to be vaccinated against COVID-19, the cancellation fee at the time you choose to cancel will apply.
