Your role as a student exchange coordinator

As an International Exchange Coordinator (IEC), you play a key role in the world of cultural exchange. You bring cultures together in your community by connecting foreign exchange students, high schools and host families. The role is part-time, flexible and volunteer-spirited.

About the role

As an exchange coordinator, you wear many different hats. You build relationships in your community and support your host families and students. Explore different components of the role below.

Our rewards & incentives

Exchange coordinators are compensated for each exchange student they match with a family and for supervising all their students during the year. In addition to the financial compensation, IECs earn travel rewards and gain access to a nationwide network.
