Step 1

Share the news about your role

Start spreading the word and tell everyone in you network about your new role as an IEC with your personal IEC contact page.

Get familiar with your personal contact page

As a new IEC, you receive a personal website. Encourage your contacts to help share content online for you! Any host family interest generated from your personal website will be attributed to you. You can find your personal page on the HUB by going to:

Share the news on social

A great first step to get you started is to announce your new role as an IEC to your social network. Include the link to your contact page together with an EF branded social media post. Encourage your own network to help you share the news.

How will you know when someone inquired on your contact page?

Your EF team will alert you when someone has submitted interest via your website. You'll want to follow up within 48 hours to learn more about their interest in hosting and which student profiles would be best to share.
